This is a Q&A website for computer programmers and users alike, focused on helping fellow programmers and users stuck with computing.
If you have hit a wall and are stuck with a problem, go ahead and ask your question!
The website is tightly focused on problem solving and about offering technical answers to specific questions. It is not a forum for sharing one's thoughts, discussing new ideas, jokes, or news. Please do not submit questions of a broad nature inviting extended discussions and answers that are inherently a matter of opinion.
If you are a developer or an experienced user, please consider subscribing to the RSS feeds (see below) for receiving notifications when new questions are asked. We are a small community, and your help will help enormously! Answering questions will help current as well as future people find the help that they need, by learning from other people who already faced the same problems.
We're free/open-source developers, therefore free culture is what you'll find the most help with.
We're committed to offer a friendly place devoid of any dark patterns the likes of user-tracking, paywalls, spam. All contributions to the website are released under the CC0 free license. We hang out on IRC; feel free to join us at #peers on irc.libera.chat if you want to say hi!
Please be aware that because of the high volume of spam, for the time being new accounts will be approved manually (thank you for understanding!).
